Because many people have asked for this information we have decided to publish detailed aspects of our private life: our Wiccan Wedding. Our goal is to assist and encourage those couples seeking to have their own special day in their own special way. This type of ceremony should appeal to anyone who favours earth-based religions such as Wicca but it is not exclusive to anyone, no matter what religion or sexual preference. All love is beautiful.
We are Ruffian Angel and The Countess, a married couple of musicians comprising the Gothic Wicca Rock Band, Themis.
We were married in Jordan, Ontario which is a beautiful place near one of the seven wonders of the world, Niagara Falls. We remarry (per se) every year and spend time each year at the Jordan Village Guest Manor in Jordan, Ontario. May the Spirit of Life fill our hearts with joy today and be with us as we celebrate the love and commitment that Countess and Ruffian Angel share for each other.
Congratulations. Entering Gaia's Forest of Life is an odyssey, a journey of self realization, and a commitment. Now you are about to commit your life to another person. Take time to appreciate the experience.
Legal Admonition
The Countess and Ruffian Angel, you have made known your desire to enter into marriage, and no one has shown just cause why you may not. If either of you know of any lawful impediment why you may not be married, I charge you to declare it to me now.
Questions to The Countess and Ruffian Angel
Ruffian, do you give yourself to The Countess to be her husband?

The Vows
Repeat after me please:

The Exchange of Rings
Repeat after me please:
Countess I give you this ring as a sign of my love and loyalty, a symbol of the vows we have made this day.
Ruffian I give you this ring as a sign of my love and loyalty, a symbol of the vows we have made this day.
Now may those who wear these rings live in love all of their days.

Woven into this Cord, are all the hopes of your friends and family, and of yourselves, for your new life together. With the fashioning of these knots so are all your dreams, desires, love and happiness wished here in this place to your lives for as long as love shall last.
Two entwined in love, bound by commitment, joy, hardship and victory, anger and reconciliation, all of which brings strength to this union. Hold tight to one another through both good times and bad, and watch as your strength grows.
Countess and Ruffian, as your hands are bound together now, so your lives and spirits are joined in a union of love and trust. Above you are the stars and below you is the earth. Like the stars you love should be a constant source of light, and like the earth, a love that stands firm and grows.
The Declaration of Marriage
We have heard your promise to share your lives in marriage; we recognize and respect the covenant of marriage you have made here, before each one of us as witnesses. Therefore, in the honesty and sincerity of what you have said and done, and with the authority given me by the Province of Ontario, it is my honour and a delight to now pronounce you husband and wife.
